Who is Klarna?
Klarna was founded in 2005 in Sweden with the aim of making it easier for people to shop online. Their mission is to make paying as simple, safe and above all, smooth as possible. Klarna is now one of Europe’s largest banks and is providing payment solutions for 85 million consumers across 205,000 merchants in 17 countries. Klarna offers direct payments, pay after delivery options and instalment plans in a smooth one-click purchase experience that lets consumers pay when and how they prefer to. Klarna is backed by investors such as Sequoia Capital, Bestseller, Permira, Visa and Atomico.
How do the interest-free instalments work?
Select the Klarna option at checkout and enter your debit or credit card information. It’s as simple as making any other card purchase. After Boobaloo Boutique confirms that the order is on its way, Klarna will charge your card for the first third of the total amount. Klarna will then send you a notification once the payment has been processed. Every 30 days Klarna will automatically charge your card 1/3 of your total amount until the full order amount has been paid. You will be informed ahead of time. There's no interest, or fees to pay - It's not too good to be true. Klarna’s partner with trusted retailers to give you flexible payment options.
How does the pay in 30 days work?
Choose Klarna to pay up to 30 days later and enter simple, top-of-mind information. No need for card numbers or complex information to complete the order. Your agreed payment period starts when the order is shipped. This means that you can take the time to try your order before buying it without the stress of upfront payment. You can easily make your payment online or through the Klarna app. Once you’ve connected your bank account, debit or credit card, the checkout process is as simple as a single tap. Paying after delivery allows you to try before you buy and is the easiest way to shop online. Complete the payment in full after purchase at no added cost. Report returns directly through the Klarna app and only pay for the items that you keep.
Am I eligible for instalments?
To use Instalments you must be at least 18. Whilst this option is widely promoted, Instalments is subject to your financial circumstances. When choosing Instalments, Klarna’s assessment will not affect your credit rating.
Can I pay before the due date?
Yes! If you want to pay the outstanding balance of your Instalments purchase early, simply log in to the Klarna website or app, go to the order page and select "Pay off early".
What do I need to provide when I make a purchase?
If you want to make a purchase with Klarna using Instalments, you'll need to provide the following : Your phone number, Email Address, Current billing address, A valid debit/credit card. All correspondence would be sent to your email address however, your mobile number is required should Klarna need to reach you. It's important that all this information is up to date otherwise you will not receive your payment schedule and any updated order information.
What happens if I don’t pay for my order?
Klarna will automatically attempt to collect payment for your Instalments purchase from the card that you entered at checkout. You can find out when your payments will be taken in the email that you received at the time of purchase or by logging in to Klarna on the website or through the app. If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after seven days. If this payment also fails, another attempt after a further seven days (14 days after the date of the first attempt) will be made.
Can I change the card used to make payment?
Your second and third payments will be automatically taken from the card that you entered during the checkout process. If you need to change the payment card, simply log in to the Klarna app, head to your Instalments order and select "Change card", then enter your new card details.
Does Klarna protect my personal information?
Your privacy and security is very important, and Klarna’s solution is designed to prevent unauthorized use and protect your personal information. Klarna use security measures including computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. Klarna maintain other physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect your information and limit access to sensitive information to those employees for whom access is appropriate.
I have cancelled my order. How long until I get a refund?
Once the online store has registered your cancellation or return, the repayment will be processed in five to seven bank days. In the case of a return or cancellation of an order where you have not yet paid, no refund will be made.
What happens to my pay later statement if I return an item?
Only pay for what you keep. If you return some or all of your order, Klarna will issue you with a new statement as soon as Boobaloo Boutique processes your return. If you have an upcoming payment due date – sit back and relax. If there is a delay in Boobaloo Boutique registering a return Klarna will issue a new payment due date for the stuff you decided to keep.
